American elms on CSU campus

The beloved Oval on campus with its Allée of American Elms.  I never remember the grass staying green so late into Dec.

 I spent a day on campus interview students  in Horticulture for scholarships and listing to research updates form the Department of Horticulture.   In the end we gave out 7 scholarships, and a rather handsome sum to support research at CSU.
