Lost Dog

Tonight we have been consumed with a search for Bailey. We discovered she was missing when we arrived home from work and after consulting with everyone, we determined she must have disappeared last night after we'd taken her collar off for the evening. Searches through the surrounding areas have been fruitless, so I created this poster to put up, then posted on craigslist, fidofinder.com, and facebook.

Luckily, this story has a happy ending. A friend saw my post of facebook and connected it with a post the previous night from another friend who had picked up a dog near her house. Well, what a small world we live in...the friend turned out to be our neighbor who was relatively new to the area and didn't know Bailey.

I won't have to plaster the neighborhood with these posters tomorrow. We now know that we can pick her up from Norwalk Animal Shelter in the morning. What a relief!
