Before and after

Goodness!!!! It's been yeeeeaaarrss since I've polished my coal scuttle and boy was it overdue, as you can see from the before and after. One of the 'projects' that I wanted done before the coffee morning, but didn't get around to. But felt so pleased that I did today, and it's looking fabulous, even one day on!

We bought it in London at the Portobello markets when we lived there. So it's quite special.

Spent the evening preparing for another gathering - of Martin's colleagues from the Peninsula. There's about 15 coming out ....and some kids this year.
