Old gig ticket - Vic Reeves

So, it was 24 years ago today. Vic and Bob were riding high with "Dizzy" and coming off the anarchic high of Big Night Out here it all was live. Don't really remember any of the gags that night now but do remember coming out laughing. Astonishing though was how many of the audience came expecting just a concert and basically chatted all through the comedy, waiting for Vic to sing. Strange days indeed.

Went to this with some good friends from work, we used to all have hysterics while Graham recounted what had happened on the previous night's "Big Night Out", which was somehow always funnier that watching it by yourself at home! Remember Man with the Stick particularly, and also the strange aversion to chives...

Probably getting towards the end of the venue being called Hammersmith Odeon - though of course that's still what it is to me!
