Being Silly

Tis the season for men to be silly : wearing bells/handkerchiefs/sticks & dancing in the peeing rain on Norwich Market this morning. 'More' can you hear me shout !.
Did anyone else enjoy Micheal Morpurgo's wonderful story on Radio 4 at 10am about William Tandy ??. Micheal said clearly it's very hard to verify, but as it goes : William Tandy was a very heroic soldier during WW1, when the seise fire game he preserved the lives of German soldiers. Adolf Hitler claimed he was one of them that Tandy preserved. Sounds apocryphal, until Neville Chamberlain said he was shown a photo by Hitler of himself with Tandy . Gives me shivers.
