Yanchep Lagoon

We drove to Yanchep about 15 min up the coast from where we live, its been a sultry sort of day but very warm.
 The ocean is warming up and the lifeguards are  being kept busy, Ruby & Deklan live near here this is where they swim in the lagoon, its very shallow water to the "drop off" a shelf off rock which can be walked on when the tide is low, but swimmers beware there is a ledge that drops off into the ocean, for anyone who watched "Nemo" the children are not allowed anywhere near the "drop off", they have both learnt to swim in the lagoon, between the lifeguards flags...
