A Jay Joins the Blip Fray

I finally put up my ladder feeder,
right about at noonday.
Wanted to feed all my squirrels...
but instead I fed the jay.

Wouldn't mind them if they acted nicer,
but with others they don't play.
They fill their beaks with seeds galore...
DO THEY THINK IT'S A BIRD BUFFET?

The jays...they took all of the nuts,
leaving the tray in disarray.
The rodents never did show up,
I'll try again on Saturday.
