Undeterred by the rain!!

Had a nice weekend at work...time to work hard, and still have fun and chat with patients and colleagues!!! Lots of giggling, teasing, getting a chance to spoil patients a bit, and even do a ward crossword!!! Now that's more like it!!! A holistic approach!! Lots of smiling and several declarations that this really was a great ward to be on!!!! :-))))) Reminds me why I'm a nurse!!!

Off today and had a lovely restful day today...despite torrential rain!!! Went into town for lunch, then went out for some shots. I was delighted to see the torrential rain!!!! It gave me a chance to have a lot of fun hiding in a protected doorway taking panning shots of colourful umbrellas!!! Lol!!! I did get a few odd looks, but also several smiles!!! :-))

After all that, I was contrary enough to like the set of shots I took of this guy and his black umbrella....thinking it may make a good mono!! He was quite happily toddling down the street texting and then phoning!! Moral of the day.......BIG umbrellas rule!!! And let you carry on regardless!!!!!!!! :-))) Ladies...that goes for you too!! More and more woman use then...saw a gorgeous big purple umbrella today!! Stuff the tiny, useless ones!! Hopeless!!!

Today was great fun...it was nice to have a photo day...and no other worries!! Now having a lovely glass of wine...and off to cook dinner!! :-))
