Life Savors

By osuzanna

The days are getting really short, and the light can prove to be challenging. WRPerry  and I went to the Patuxent Wildlife Refuge and Research area this morning, but it was overcast and many of the bird shots were difficult.  We did see lots of bluebirds, but none of my shots were great and so I settled on this little Sparrow who obligingly sat in some fading late afternoon sun for a few moments. This was taken in the backyard, which is a wildlife refuge of its own sort.

I just had a lovely FaceTime chat with Walking Wombat  this afternoon. It was great to catch-up and talk about future plans for Tiny Tuesday.  FYI, I will be hosting Tiny Tuesday for the last two weeks of December.  Thanks to Isbi, I discovered the digital zoom feature on my Sony camera this week which has expanded the capabilities of my lenses considerably.  I am very excited about this discovery and was able to share it with WRPerry (Wendy) and Barb who both have the same Sony Camera. If you have a Sony mirrorless camera, and don't know what I am talking about, email me and I can easily tell you about it.

My husband is on vacation beginning just about now (5:00 pm Friday) and we are headed off to warmer climates on Monday for a few days.  Stay tuned.  Wishing you all a fabulous weekend.
