La Villa Marbella

Anne and I had a little holiday within a holiday today. A benefit of bringing the extended family with us to Spain.. We stayed at a small owner-managed hotel in Marbella old town called 'La Villa Marbella'. Marcus the owner was so incredibly friendly and helpful.

We were provided with a drink in arrival on the pretty roof terrace. Then we were shown to our room which was in another of the beautiful buildings in the old town, it was very nice.

Wandering round Marbella old town was fantastic. It's not that big, but every street is so nice. We had a drink in the square by the church then went to a French restaurant 'Casanis' that had been recommended by the hotel. Great meal.
