Freiburg (Germany) - Villeneuve (Switzerland)

Ah, Freiburg - let's check this out this morning. Recommended by friends, fascinating ancient walled city, famous for brewing or something.
Ah, that would be Fribourg, Switzerland we soon discovered - I spy no ramparts nor scent the aroma of hops...

Anyhoo, Freiburg, Germany was really lovely with a market in full swing, selling what everyone needs - a man made from processed meat - delish!!

Crossed into Switzerland, stopping by their Fribourg - we may have missed something, but we weren't that keen - and down to Villeneuve, Lake Geneva. There is a bit of a theme developing here...

Switzerland is amazing - the scenery stunning, and all those cliches are absolutey true - we did see cows with bells on, snow on the mountain tops, chalets and not so much as a fag end in sight.
