Ooooo, Hello

..........we both took each other by surprise. I was creeping about on the edge of the lake trying to get a shot of a moorhen in the reeds when suddenly this head popped up and I found myself being stared at by the most piercing eye. Nobody moved for about 10 seconds ( I'm assuming it was a good fishing spot that he didn't want to move from), normally they shoot off quite quickly, so I snapped a shot and backed away to let him get on with his lunch :-)

I tried at least four times to sit down and start writing cards but after much sighing and distracted looks I gave up and went out for a walk.......I find writing Christmas cards about the most boring thing possible and I keep putting it off.......maybe I'll do some tomorrow......but then again, I'm sure my radiators must need dusting behind by now ;-)))
