Day 4

Gondrexange (France)-Strasbourg (France)

60 miles.

Hot, hot day. Arrived in Strasbourg mid afternoon and did not very much until the evening when we cycled into town (but not until after I had raced B around the campsite and came a cropper. Thankfully I fell off onto the grass so only have bruised knees to show for it, though they are not a good look on someone my age trying for sophisticated bronzed gorgeousness).

Strasbourg is impossibly pretty, a chocolate box image around every corner (do they still do that - put pictures on chocolate boxes?) buzzing with life and about a zillion tourists - we love it and intend to return in the morning before heading on our way.
