Avenue of Beech

I'm always surprised by the number of these 'avenues' of beech trees which you come upon in Aberdeenshire.

They seem to go hand-in-hand with estates of land with home farms.

This one skirts around Auchmacoy. A bit of shelter from the odd shower of drizzle after a wet game of golf this morning.
