Rural Aberdeenshire

Does this look like it's December? I had a beautiful journey home in daylight, indeed in sunlight, this afternoon. There is an amazing amount of green in the fields where the autumn/winter sown crops have had a great start due to the mild weather. Often by now we've had snow and much colder days. It might happen yet but in a week or so the winter Equinox is with us and the days will start to lengthen again, and my spirits will rise. Looking forward to seeing my boy tomorrow when he gets home again for the weekend.....
