A Grand Old Day in York....

Oh what a day! Ellen is the last of the coven to join the 'Half a Century' club. Tomorrow is the big day, but today...oh today, we started celebrations with a trip to York. 

It was an early train trip, but with a glass of something fizzy it passed by in a flash of bubbles, chat and laughter. We mooched around the markets and the shops before lunch at Betty's. We didn't have to join the queue outside the shop as we were booked in for the Clarins lunch...which was delicious. 

Sue had brought along the 'photo booth accessory pack'...oh what fun we had with it, I'm going to have to get one for other photo opportunities! 

There was more mooching around the shops before the train home. We all went back to Ellen's for some more champagne and birthday cake. It was such a fabby day.
