Leire Cutting
This cutting just west of the Leicestershire village of Leire once carved a route for the Leicester to Rugby section of the London, Midland and Scottish Railway company.
Its now a local nature walk and volunteers were out inforce tending the banks. This beautiful bridge takes the Leire-Frolesworth road across.
My extra photo is the bridge taking this dismantled line across Broughton Road. Look at the engineering robustness of these structures, even with trains going across they have many decades of life left in them...
