Bear in the bakery

Impressed by the Christmas shop-window displays in Wooler, all adding to the festive feel to the town. Quite a few, like this one,  feature polar bears.

Splendid office Christmas lunch at the Queen's Head today. Mistake to go shopping after champagne and wine though - bought far more than intended at the Green Shop, and then managed to leave my debit card in another shop. Luckily, discovered that I'd mislaid it as soon as we got home (MrM drove me home, by the way -  I wasn't driving under the influence!), phoned the shop in question, and they've assured me that it's safely locked away in their office. Means a trip to retrieve it on the way to work tomorrow, but could have been worse...
