Deer

An all day meeting punctuated by a Chr**tmas lunch (my first, and hopefully my last this season). Then in the evening it was back to Ye Olde Swan, to meet up with a few colleagues. The menu doesn't really appeal, but at least they serve decent beer.

This deer was lying about in the hotel foyer - it put me in mind of the strange dogs that used to stand either side of the fireplace. In fact, I'm sure I spotted one of the dogs, painted white and minus the lampshade, with some tinsel around its neck.
