The Bass Rock from North Berwick

From Edinburgh we took the train to North Berwick to meet up with my cousin's daughter and her husband for a leisurely lunch and also their daughter who is six weeks old, Eilidh.  It was wonderful to see them and to meet Eilidh who has lots of hair and is so alert already.  Before meeting up with them we had a walk along the beach and round the harbour but it was so windy and bitterly cold that we had to retreat into a cafe for tea no scone today.  
 

Late in the afternoon we headed back to Edinburgh and then headed out for the evening to see 'The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe' at the Lyceum theatre.  What a magical show!  It really was fantastic.
