I disagree with Ms Conran

Life is not too short to stuff a mushroom, nor will it ever be. A stuffed mushroom is a delightful thing.

Today I winged it and made up my own recipe. It was a great excuse to wield my new hachoir/mezzaluna.

Just checked the forecast and decided we would go to town tomorrow if there was room on the boat for the car. We thought we might replenish beer supplies etc. Alas -  we would be Third Reserve in the morning and Second Reserve coming home. I don't mind being reserve going out - either we go or we don't but being  reserve to come home is a dodgy business. Do not wish to be stranded overnight in town. So, no trip tomorrow means I may well have to go on foot come Tuesday or Mr L'd b'day dinner on Thursday will be an incomplete feast. 

That in turn means that I shall miss Spinning. I am supposed to be In Charge of Cake. Oops.
