The Tree is up!

So as I planned yesterday I put the Christmas tree up! It took longer than planned due to an impromptu trip to Tesco to buy new lights. All the ones we had were either a fire hazard (apparently the case when several bulbs are blown, and anyway they looked terrible!) or way too small to look right on the tree.

It also took longer due to "input" from Minstrel Cat when trying to put on the lights and tinsel! He's only allowed in the front room under supervision now! He's probably wondering why I have taken time to painstakingly construct what is clearly a giant cat-toy only to not let him play with it!

Anyway Brian Blipped the tree itself last night so I've decided to go for just part of it today! The Ho-Ho and sweet ornaments are some of the ones chosen by Jae - from the age of three to 16 he chose a bauble a year, and when he has his own home, they will become his on his first Christmas in it! The Bad Fairy is one I bought!
