Fine Dining with a View
Lunch had been skipped in favour of snorkelling on the coral reef. After a late afternoon Yoga session on the beach we were ready to be spoiled. Navo restaurant is the most exclusive in the Resort and overlooks the island of the same name (in the background of the picture) so we put on our finest and ordered their signature menu whilst we sat virtually on the beach and watched the sunset. We didn't even have to pay extra for the horses - they appeared alongside the prawns, the lobster, the duck breasts, the frothy mushroom soup, the Mud Crab salad and the trio of desserts. All with a local Fijian twist, even the polenta bread came with dipping coconut oil and local sea salt.
Expectations are being exceeded all round and we are gradually adjusting to Fijian time which is even slower than Glenelg time.
