Double take

As I turned the corner to drive down to Haltwhistle from the Military Road, I did a double take! It's Haltwhistle Festival next weekend and someone has got in early for the scarecrow competition. Very funny too.

We had a good committee meeting - lots of holiday tales to tell as well as lots of business to get through. After a bit of food shopping I stopped here on my way home. More scary/funny in large.
