I really don't get the car thing, especially brash and blingy Italian cars.

Paunchy, middle-aged man gets out. Stands for a bit looking around, checking to see if he's attracting attention. Comes back after a few minutes and drives away making a racket like a sick sewing machine...

I'm not in the least envious. Really!
