Warrenton's Big Blue Water Tower

Today we headed off to Warrenton to go swimming, they have a great child friendly pool, which Evie loved!

We popped into the town and spotted the water tower, which is apparently 100 feet tall and still services the old town with water.

At about 8.30pm the lights started to flicker, then the power went and soon there was a rumble of thunder. Then the wind picked up and then next I heard was this roar, I asked Alice what the noise was and she said it was the wind, wow it was loud.

Then came the lightning, it just lit up the sky, it was amazing to watch, tried to Blip but failed. The storm lasted for about 1.5hrs and at one point I saw 6 fork lightning strikes in the sky at once!

Luckly the storm cooled the air, which was good with no air con and no fans due to no power!
