Melbourne at night

I know this is not a great shot by any means, but it's a start. I have never really done much (or even any) night time photography, so this is all new to me. The moon came out very briefly and went straight back behind the clouds before I could even point the camera at it, so there isn't much else to point the camera at but the city, some 25 km away.

I tried several different shutter speeds and this one was actually over exposed (4secs worked better, but that one wasn't sharp!), so I adjusted the exposure in Aperture. It would look better if the sky wasn't so dull and cloudy.
