Orange pouffe

An early start to drive to the Lowry in Salford proved necessary, due to firstly my mum's inability to map read and secondly my sat nav's refusal to recognise the north west of England.

We eventually go there and enjoyed Jem Southam's exhibiton of photographs retracing Lowry's steps, plus some press photography from the Guardian archive.

However that was quite enough excitement for the day.
