Lincolnshire sunset

It stayed sunny all day today although the wind was cold.  I had calls to do across the fen so I appreciated being able to take my time and enjoy the scenery.  I did not appreciate spending an hour trying to extract a mechanism from a modern longcase clock and finding it impossible.  The case had been built around the movement with no thought that the mechanism would one day need to come out.  Fortunately I managed to do a repair in situ but not a full service.  This is my favourite line of trees but I have never caught the sunset behind them before.
