Getting Ready

Christmas is just around the corner, but before then it is posada and procession time. Adelita Street is always well decorated for the season and this morning I discovered why. Three guys were stringing the colorful flags that have captivated me since moving here five years ago across the street. I suspect they didn't have access to the various balconies, so they just used an extension ladder to get on the porches and string the flags. No doubt I will have shots of the finished job somewhere down the road as I ride this street every time I head to town.
