Poppies in Liverpool

One last chance for Brian and myself to have a day out before the madness of Christmas begins....especially for Brian, being a postie.

We decided to check out the Liverpool Christmas market. The mulled wine was nice and we had a stroll around the stalls before heading to the Albert Dock where we had something to eat. It was a warm, sunny day and just perfect. We also got to see the poppy display outside the Walker Art Gallery. Amazing to think that people queued for hours at the Tower of London whereas we could just walk straight up to this....it is only a small section of the London display though.
