Was getting stuck into some long overdue weeding today.
About 10 inches from the pool was this guy.
I got the fright of my life.It was a a beautiful carpet python .
It was 2 coils and I thought it was just snake hanky Panky.But just a whopper.
Nemesis to mouse and rat good to have about.
My neighbors friend thought he had one and tried to move it , it bit him and he died.
Was a brown snake.
They look obvious to me but would be a bit nervous to pick him up.
I absolutely love the wildlife here and feel quite privileged.
Shared a swim the other night with a foot and a half frilly lizard.
I was commando so was slightly nervous.
