Schooner!!

CRIKEY - just when I was racking my brain as to what I could photograph for my 800th blip, Schooner came along.  Woohoo, lucky me, particularly considering that until early this afternoon I didn't know Schooner existed.  We have new neighbours that have moved into the adjoining property and their young son called in to introduce both himself, his girlfriend and Schooner.  Well it didn't take Schooner long to work out that the Billabong would make a great place to cool off and in he went.  No argument from this whacky wombat (thanks to Ellaphant for the new nickname!!!) I love animals and Schooner can come and swim in the Billabong any time he likes.  Oh and just in case you missed it, here's a link to my journal on the 16th of February 2014 when Wally decided to go for a swim in the Billabong. 

I'm hosting Tiny Tuesday for the next couple of weeks and it's just great being back in macro mode once again.  I'm just half way through the task of viewing all the entries this week and making my "LONG" - short list.  It's really exciting for me that the idea of a month of "Macro Mayhem in May" has now developed into an ongoing and very well supported weekly challenge in the form of Tiny Tuesday.  From what I gather there have been quite a few new macro lenses purchased since those humble beginnings.  

Next week I'm hoping will be a "Bumper Christmas Tiny Tuesday" with entries bases around a magical Christmas macro.  I'm giving you all a whole week to dream up something special and I expect to be up for a few hours every night browsing through the record number of entries.  Let's make this a cracker week and just reinforce once and for all how import blipfoto is to all of us.  LONG LIVE BLIPFOTO
