Thurso and Orkneys

This is the most northerly part of my week's trip.  Two interviews this morning between Thurso and Dounreay.  If you head directly north from this point you hit the north pole, though if you bend ever so slightly left you might bump into Iceland.  And, yes, you can just see the southern tip of the Orkneys out there on the horizon.  A long drive afterwards down to Inverness for the flight home, in high winds and very heavy rain, but all accomplished safely.
