Happy July 1st!

A very lazy day for us here...just hanging out with each other and enjoying our house...finally ventured as far as the backyard to snap this picture of my hosta bloom.

Did spend a few hours texting back and forth with my sisters who live on the East Coast and are dealing with the effects of the severe storm that swept through Virginia and West Virginia on Friday...with the forecast predicting another storm tonight with about same magnitude of winds and rain. Hope that one passes them by.
