It's officially summer in China!

I've been walking by the pool in my apartment complex every day for five months now. In the past few months, there have been days where I look longingly at it and wish I could escape the heat by diving into the pool of water. However, the pool is only open from July 1 until August 31.

Last week they finally started to clean the pool and with each passing day, I could feel the excitement mounting. For the past few days, the temperature has been getting up to 34 degrees Celsius and I know for the rest of summer, the temperature is going to hover around the high 30's and 40's.

The good news is, it's finally July 1 which means the pool is open for business!
