Bent (Day 215)
At long last, a day of sunshine. Rain was promised for us in the late afternoon but the darkness has arrived and the rain is yet to come. It was much warmer than of late when I took the dogs up the hill this morning and there was a bit more of a view to look at as I wandered back to the van.
I headed to Stromness to do a quick job, then spent the rest of the morning sorting a bit of a leak in our central heating.
My beautiful wife had struggled to come up with a subject for the 3 Bob Blip Challenge today, and Wheeliebloke stepped in and suggested "damage". I knew where I would get a blip but had no idea what it would be. The dogs and I splodged through a mile and a half of thick mud and sploshed through endless puddles to get to the scrapyard at Wasdale. As took a few snaps of bent and broken cars, the idiots ran around chasing each other and the occasional rabbit.
This old Montego sits, folded in half, rusting away into the earth.
