Temminck's Stint

A lovely new bird(for me) has arrived at the fresh water pools of Al Ansab lagoons, this is a Temminck's Stint and not the more common Little Stint. A bit less eye-catching than the Little Stint with a more uniformly grey plumage, but with greeny-yellow legs and a completely different 'trill' call. The extras today are of the beautiful Grand Mosque which is a must visit inside and out and has stunning, tranquil gardens, which of course the birds love, so another great place to see Sunbirds, Rollers and Bulbuls.
