Love in a Mist

This self-seeding annual, Nigella damascena is also known as Love in a Mist. It's one of my favorite flowers because of its lacy appearance, its unusual seed pods and because its so easy to grow. I sowed some seed for them two years ago and I've had them come up in my garden every spring since.
