Superglue?

Lovely colours this afternoon but I couldn't help wondering - after the gales last week, how are these leaves still on this tree?  All the other trees are totally bare!
The extra pic is a contre-jour showing Mystic's lovely fluffy tail to great advantage - note the ball captured from Merlin, too !
