Ullswater

It was rather eerie walking out above Ullswater today and seeing it seem so silent. It returned to a pre-car state since the roads became impassable.

I had today off work because I had intended to be in Norfolk but had been unable to get out over the weekend. It was a relief not to have to battle in with Eamont Bridge still closed until later in the day.
