Guard Geese

What a difference a day makes! It was lovely to see sunshine after all the grey and miserable days and ideal for going out with the walking group.

As we walked down a lane we passed a field with  this lovely Shetland pony. It had two guard geese that honked all the time that our group passed by. No-one would trespass there unnoticed, it's no wonder they've always been popular guards.

It's a shame that the gate has spoiled the photo but I wasn't hopping over it!!
