Stratospheric reflections

You took me away,
To the lonely place,
With only visceral echoes and
Sensual dysmorphia

There was only you,
And my loss
Of self
And being
And changed perception

An arid peninsula
Of experience where you
Were my home amongst
The sea of me.

I'd search for your
Arms or eyes, adrift
In space time and
You kept me afloat,
You kept me to yourself.

But now your shores
Have vanished, I'm shrouded
In the abyss,
The water's too deep
And you led me out.
