Aapjes kijken

Recently, we got a NYCID, which gives us the chance to become members of all kinds of cultural institutions around the city. We have to activate our membership by the 31st of December though, so it makes for good excuses to travel around in our own town. Today we ventured out all the way to the Bronx and had a nice stroll at the Bronx Zoo. Although I always love to see the many different animals, it remains somehow weird to lock wild animals up in a small space you to watch them, like in this picture.
