LAX. A fill in day.
Tom Bradley International Terminal had the job of entertaining us for a few hours as we waited to lose a day of our lives by jumping the International Date Line.
First a trip to a quiet little Mexican restaurant (in the Arrivals Hall) for some Nachos and a shower of Belgian Beer from an inexperienced Bar Tender who donated the above compensatory Mango Dream Sponge as an apology. All three tasted good.
Next were the dancers in the Check in Hall. More noise than skill, but they passed an interesting few minutes as we waited for the Fiji Air Check in Desk to open.
After the ritual undressing for the security check, we headed for the Priority Pass Lounge and overdosed on the free sandwiches and Japanese Pot Noodle like Miso soup. Cool, quiet and relaxing. This will be the third time I have flown from this airport without setting a foot actually in the city. Los Angeles thank you.
