Unexpected Pleasures

So today I unexpectedly spent about 2 hours of my life in a church in Wolverhampton listening to the wonderful Birmingham Symphony Orchestra- they really are quite amazing. The acoustics of the place were wonderful and the music selection (Vaughan Williams) a real treat. Possibly going to see them in March but that's dependent on lots of factors.

In other news I bought a woolly hat (feeling the autumn chill a little and quite a temp difference to down south), I also bought a gorgeous formal bag which I am very much looking forward to using. The flooding up north and in Scotland looks awful, having flooded twice in the past my heart goes out to those affected.
