Washington DC

Took a early morning bus ride to Washington DC to spend a few days with my wife.  Restaurants were closed but the many of the museums were open.  National Gallery was wonderful with the range of paintings and also the free admission.  Have seen many Vermeer paints in NY and DC.
Also this object looked nice while the sun was setting from the left side.

A quiet city compared to NY.  Happy the security measures seemed to be as usual even after the terrorist threats to the city.
