After several days of dark skies and persistent rain it was a delight to be outside again.  I've never seen the reservoir so swollen.  

My girl announced that she had had the best Birthday ever and nothing could have been more perfect.  Today she was visited by Helen who tagged along and agreed to everything we suggested.  

I sent my girl, my boy and Helen packing with leftovers for tea.  My girl will soon forget how to cook, it's been over 4 days since she last had to think about where her next meal was coming from.
