no more weeks to go!!

can you believe it's July already? this year is racing ahead, can't keep up!

reasonable nights sleep, an hour awake at 4am, but then slept til 9am-ish. had a lazy morning, as we were out for lunch. thought i'd better try and sort some holiday cloths out as now there are no more weeks to go!!! sorted out what i needed and got very easily sorted by George at Asda!! perfect! bargain cloths, and saves me trying to make purchases at lunch in town this week.

purchased more paint for 49, offer on at B&Q (surely i've spent more there this year than anyone!!).

off to lunch out with family. Bro returns from IOM looking very well and relaxed. great to see him, and her how well he's settled in and loving his new life. great meal and good times, as usual with the fam!

home and despite the lunchtime wine, i decide to do 5 hours of gardening! the rain has certainly made pulling up 5ft weeds a lot easier! the lawn took me 2 1/2 hours to mow - all the rain in June had made it grow v fast.

looked good at the end, and i notice the first raspberries. i think these are approx 1 week later than last year. love them, and with the rain and then the intense heat i suspect i'll have loads this year, but many will go to waste due to my hols.

sat outside for a while, and half watched the Spain v Italy Euro 2012 final. ole ole ole ole!! we've won the work sweep!

bed now, and on the final countdown!!
