Chilling

The weather has been lack lustre today, not as dreadful as in Cumbria where Storm Desmond wreaked havoc and rivers burst their banks causing severe flooding. Not nice and sunny or dry and crisp, just overcast, drizzling rain, and windy. Nevertheless we went out to the garden centre to get the Christmas tree, even though we won't put it up until next weekend. It is residing in the garage for the time being as it is so windy at the moment it's at risk of taking off f I leave it in the garden.

This afternoon we drove to the beach instead of walking it; lazy but so windy it's a battle to walk against it. Even in this weather, we all still love the beach. When I mentioned to a couple of people earlier in the year we intended to move to the coast, their reaction was, what about the winter? Not so nice then! Well it is! I've seen the summer and autumn now, and still loving it!
